Good evening.
Ahhhhh...the beauty of the flowering trees...the gorgeous weather...brings us happiness and peace right in our backyards.
What else can do that? Why YOGA, of course.
Regular yoga practice helps women maintain better physical and mental health, energy levels, and self-esteem. It can also help with several medical conditions: Several studies have shown that yoga can lower blood pressure, cholesterol, and lower the risk of heart disease.
Women and men can be affected by the hormones that are the messengers in our bodies. We each respond differently to what we eat, how we sleep, how we exercise, how we relax. All these things affect our insulin and cortisol which are the 2 messengers that are also fat storage hormones in our bodies. Eating a mod to high carb diet and running a high stress life without daily exercise puts these hormones in overdrive.
