5 Ways to Connect to Your Well-Being
Janet Kieslich | MAY 30, 2022

1) Connect to your heart: Take time to slow down and tune into your heart. What is most meaningful and
important to you at this time in your life? Meditate on your patio, listen to the birds with your coffee in
the morning, attend a yoga session, take a walk on the beach or in the forest, enjoy a boat ride with your
kids, grand kids, friends.
2) Celebrate your fullness: Set goals that honor the health of your whole being - body, mind, emotions, and
soul. Be mindful not to overbook. The Yama, Bramacharya (or non excess), reminds us to honor our fullness without
overindulging. The Yamas and Niyamas are the 10 jewels of Yoga's ethical practice in life - another blog:).
3) Honor your obstacles: We all have challenges but once we're aware of them, we can face them and move
forward without fear.
4) Embrace daily rituals: Ritual is at the heart of self-care. Whether it's meditation, journalling or spending time in nature
your routines are the fuel for your life. TIME for TIME - Thankfulness, Inspiration, Meditation, Exercise.
5) Stay open and adaptable: The work is always changing - stay flexible and adapt your goals to stay aligned
with your self-care needs.
As always, Reset, Rejuvenate, Renew...Be YOU!
Namaste,
Janet
